Models of Service Delivery
Organisational effectiveness is contingent on the degree of congruence between the organisation’s external environment whether static or dynamic) and the internal structure (either mechanistic or organic. This approach is largely descriptive, and may have limited, if any, causal features. Defining preferred models of service organisation and delivery is therefore not appropriate. Instead of prescribing a best model for service delivery, guiding principles for services maybe more helpful.
